Lilliana Micallef

Liliana Micallef comes from a social work background where she worked mostly in child-related sectors including children at risk, children in residential care, adoption and fostering. She also has qualifications in Social Work Management, Business Management & Administration, the Montessori Method of Education and Laughter Yoga.

Liliana is a mother of 3 and grandmother to 3 young girls. She has always loved children and is fascinated by their joie de vivre. Working with children in diverse situations has been both rewarding and enriching to her.

Her work with children is based on the belief that each child needs to be encouraged and guided to explore the world around them and that each experiences is a learning experience. Her calm disposition.

When Liliana first heard of the baby and toddler swimming classes she was intrigued and became curious. Once she came into contact with Aquababies and Julie-Ann, there was no turning back!

“The technique and progression of the class structure make so much sense to me. Aquababies is also about seeing through a child’s perspective, teaching at each child’s individual level and doing this in a fun way, which is what I love most about it!”
